Medical services are one of the important supporting services during the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Particularly in the Yanqing Competition Zone, where some of the most challenging snow sports competitions will be held.
医疗保障是北京冬奥会和冬残奥会保障工作必不可少的一环。延庆作为北京冬奥会和冬残奥会三大赛区之一，一些最具挑战性的雪上运动比赛将在这里举行。
北医三院延庆医院
The Yanqing Competition Zone is one of the three competition zones for the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. Alpine skiing, Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Luge and Para Alpine skiing competitions will all be held here. Peking University third hospital has great reputation for treating sports injuries. Its Yanqing branch is the designated hospital for the Competition Zone. A seven-story emergency center in the hospital is the first one-stop medical treatment center in the capital. Zhou Fang, executive director of the hospital explains:
延庆赛区是北京冬奥会和冬残奥会三大赛区之一，赛时将承担高山滑雪、雪车、雪橇项目和冬残奥会的高山滑雪项目。北京大学第三医院是运动医学领域的权威之一，北医三院延庆医院是冬奥延庆赛区的定点医院，医院的七层急救中心是北京第一家“一站式”医疗中心。医院执行主任周芳解释说:
The emergency center will provide services only for athletes, officials and supporting staff during the Winter Games. it is separated from the facilities providing medical services to ordinary patients. It can provide all services from medical examination to surgery.冬奥会期间，急救中心只为运动员、官员和工作人员提供服务，提供从体检到手术所有服务，与普通病人是分开的。
延庆医院“一站式”急救中心
Alpine skiing is one of the most dangerous sports in the Winter Olympics. The average injury rate of athletes is around 15% to 20%. The rescue and treatment of injured athletes can be very challenging. The emergency center has jointly conducted a series of rescue operation drills with the mountain rescue team, including transferring injured patients to the hospital by medical helicopter.
高山滑雪是冬奥会和冬残奥会中危险度最高的项目之一，运动员和相关工作人员受伤率达到15%-20%，而且伤员的转运救治需要克服赛道险峻、救援难度大等挑战。为此，延庆区冬奥医疗服务保障中心与高山救援队密切合作，进行了多次救护车和直升机转运的实战演练，为伤员救治争取宝贵的每一分钟。
The implementation of advance technologies also enables the hospital to provide more intelligent and efficient medical services. Facilitated by 5G technology, the physical condition of a patient in the ambulance will be shared with doctors in the hospital in real time. The AI medical imaging platform makes it possible for doctors in the hospital to provide remote lifesaving medical consultation.
高科技的应用也让延庆赛区的医疗保障更加智能、高效。5G远程医疗技术能让救护车实时进行心跳监护，并将伤员体征实时回传到中心。另外智慧医学影像远程平台能够让专家实时会诊成为可能，为快速救治争取时间。
Knee injuries are most common for Alpine skiing athletes. some of them may suffer brain trauma or spinal injuries. We have already worked out an emergency plans to deal with such cases. We also set up a trauma center to handle patients suffering from multiple injuries.
高山滑雪运动员膝盖受伤是最常见的，一些人还可能会遭受脑损伤或脊髓损伤。我们已经制定了应对此类情况的应急计划。建立了一个创伤中心来处理多处受伤的病人。

Currently, 58 medical workers from Yanqing District Hospital and 43 from Peking University Third Hospital joined the team to provide medical services during the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. The preparation work of the Yanqing Competition Zone has been highly praised by International Olympic Committee and International Ski Federation.
目前，冬奥医疗保障中心已经成立了由58名延庆区医院医护人员和43名北医三院专家组成的冬奥专区救治队，将在赛时为运动员、教练等提供医疗保障。而延庆赛区的工作早在三年前就得到了国际奥委会和国际雪联的充分肯定。
